-----------FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q What is your philosophy regarding shooting weddings?

A The images I focus on most are candids, documenting what is actually occuring during my clients' weddings. I believe people are much more attractive when they are having a good time and I capture them in a natural state, not standing around a table with that "firing squad" look. I do not stop couples as they are dancing to get "the" shot. I do not bother the guests at their weddings as they are having fun and enjoying themselves. I try my darndest to stay in the shadows, even using a telephoto lens at times during the reception so people do not really know they are being photographed. Somewhat spylike, yet that generates realistic images for weddings . If you choose to do formals, which are more than welcome, I try to get you back to your party as quickly as possible. Many of your friends and family have come from all over to celebrate with you, not to spend time posing for photos at weddings .

I want you to be able to go through your album when all is said and done, when the gown is folded away, and the flowers have dried, and feel as if your wedding day was just yesterday, even if it has been years.

I love what I do, it gives me goosebumps when I pick up my camera and aim. back to faq

Q What type of equipment do you use to photograph weddings?

A I always shoot my weddings with two cameras and bring plenty of backup cameras, lenses and flash equipment. My brand of choice is Nikon professional gear, however you never know when I might pull out my Holga for a shot or two. back to faq

Q Do you offer hi res DVDs and online viewing and purchasing?

A Yes, each of my packages include all your wedding images on DVDs as well as online viewing and purchasing of prints. You, your family and your friends will be given a password to access your private online gallery from which can be purchased individual prints or prearranged packages of prints. This service is in addition to you recieving your paper proofs. back to faq

Q How many weddings will you shoot on my wedding day?

A One, yours. back to faq

Q Do you work with an assistant at weddings?

A I prefer to work alone. If I were to work with anyone it would be another professional wedding photographer, who would be a second shooter, and that would only be in an instance of a very large wedding of 300 plus or a very complicated wedding(two ceremonies in one day). However, I am most confident working on my own and capturing all the emotions that swirl around throughout most everyone's wedding day. back to faq

Q Do you have a backup shooter in case of an emergency?

A I absolutely have backup. They are professional, like-minded wedding photographers with a similar photojournalistic style as myself. I would only utilize this service if I were so ill I couldn't move or if I potentially lost a limb, haha. Seriously though, the wedding photographer that would back me up would be professional, competent and would uphold all pricing and items listed in our contract together. There would be no surprise changes or fees. back to faq
