I attended the Rhode Island School of Photography
of Providence, Rhode Island. I then worked as
a photo assistant for Providence based photographer Berge Zobian.
That experience opened my eyes to what might be possible in owning
my own wedding photography business. Being that it was my first
experience shooting weddings, I assumed there would be forced
posing, soft focus filters, and numerous table photos, ick! Instead,
it ended up being a very fun and exciting time for me, not even
feeling like work. The assisting experience instilled a passion
for photography, a passion that I still bring to my
work today.
I love photographing people, capturing emotional
faces, crinkles near the eyes when someone is really laughing.
Even the occasional happy face that a dog makes. People
are beautiful and being able to capture that is amazing to
me.
Thank you for taking the time to view my photography.
I will be adding new work periodically so please check back often.
If you have any questions feel free to call
or email me anytime.

Acknowledgements
I would like to thank the Academy...no
not really. I would like to thank the following people for all
their hard work and support.
First of all, to the wonderfully
talented man in my life, Paul. Without his determination, crazy
work hours and his strangely calm demeanor, even while the computer
taunted him, this website would not be here. While I have supplied
the imagery, he volunteered many hours of blood, sweat and tears(not
the band). Thank you for your vision and your faith in this project
and your abilities. Oh, I love ya!
Major props go out to my friend
Monica Allard Cox, whose unending wealth of computer knowledge
prevented our computer from being thrown out the window, and kept
Paul somewhat sane. Thank you! Thank you! We owe you brunches
for the next ten years.
To my Aunt Mary and Uncle Les,
thank you. These words alone do not amount to how much your support
has meant to me over the years. Thank you.
To my dad for keeping the old
"how to" photography books around for me to read. For
letting me use your old Minolta T101(which I still love), and
for always believing.
To my mom, your unending support,
your fiery belief in me and my business, and never, ever saying
it could not work. For your handholding, encouragement and for
the moments you let go of the bike seat and let me ride on my
own.
